Should you use a Realtor? 
I have heard that technology will, one day, take over the world. Employees will no longer be needed, computers will run everything.  Personally, I do not see this happening. Yet I urge you to take a minute to think of all the information technology holds.  For example, the internet provides an overwhelming amount of information. The how to guides are unlimited, there is an actual site that brags “Clear instructions on how to do (just about) everything”.  So why is it that the majority of us do not take advantage of these guides, cut out the middle man and sell our homes without a Realtor?  I believe it is the same reasons they don’t own a farm instead of shopping at Kroger - Convenience, knowledge, expertise.

I urge you to view “ehow’s: how to guide on selling a home”. There are over 30 articles on what to do to sell your home. While all of these articles are very helpful and resourceful for showing a house, none show you how to write an offer on the home or detail the legal trouble you could create for not properly filling out the needed documents and most of the articles suggest you use a Realtor. Selling a home is a very time consuming, stressful event. Why are Realtors better at what they do then the actual owners of the home. A Realtor doesn’t merely show a house, showing the home is the easy part. There are numerous components to selling a home and a good Realtor knows all of them from the most effective advertising to the proper elements of closing the deal.
